How to use hand layed fiberglass roller?
After soaking each layer of fiberglass reinforcement with resin, lightly press and roll with hand on the fiberglass roller, which will remove any unwetted areas and bubbles from the laminated parts. For large-area tiled prepregs, a roller can be used to press and roll with relatively strong force to compact the prepreg.
After use, soak the roller in a bucket of acetone until next use, ensuring that the acetone is thoroughly cleaned before each use. If properly cleaned, the roller can last for several months.
