Can fiberglass be polished free?
In theory, it is difficult to achieve because many factors can affect the surface effect of the final product. Although some fiberglass components have not been further polished, this is only based on your own standards. You believe it is feasible, but in reality, it is not.
Why is it difficult to achieve a polishing free effect?
Firstly, polyester materials will solidify and shrink; Secondly, the release agent between the mold and the product will transfer. Meanwhile, no mold can be completely flawless.
If you do need high gloss fiberglass components directly, try not to polish them as much as possible. Then you need to do two things well: the surface of the mold needs to be coated with sealing agent, and also, high-performance semi permanent release agent should be used.
