Butanox M-50 VR hardener

Butanox M-50 VR is a general purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP), which can be used for curing unsaturated resins at room temperature or temperature rise under the joint action of cobalt accelerator. Especially suitable for gelcoat resin, laminate resin, varnish and casting resin curing, as opposed to benzoyl peroxide/amine accelerator curing system, can be used for the production of light resistant products.

Butanox M-50 VR hardener contains a small red indicator that can be used to see how evenly the hardener is mixed with the resin. The color will gradually disappear as the resin solidifies, leaving the final product showing only the primary color.
