Hardener TRIGONOX V388-Nouryon MEKP

Trigonox V388 is a general purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) used with cobalt accelerators to cure unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature or elevated temperature. Trigonox V388/cobalt accelerator curing system was developed for general purpose GRP- and non-GRP- applications such as the curing of lamination resins and casting resins. Years of practical experience have proven that for marine applications a special MEKP with low water content and no polar compounds is required to prevent penetration and other problems. For shipbuilding, mekp with low water content and stable performance is required, and Trigonox V388 curing agent is the most suitable raw material for curing resin. For room temperature applications Trigonox V388 needs to be used with a cobalt accelerator such as Accelerator NL-49PN for better curing!
